Golden Light & Thistle

Inspired and named for a collaboration with YA Fiction writer Hanna C. Howard, Golden Light & Thistle invokes the atmosphere of Hebridean-inspired, Our Divine Mischief.

The title track was written to stir a feeling of home and belonging. Inspired by the poetry of Burns, Scott, Keats, and a slew of other Scots and Romantic poetry, the song tells of the coming of spring. The accompanying three tracks are two parts traditional Scottish folk music to one part Duke of Norfolk-original.

The EP was made with the help of Stew Crookes, Kate Stables (This is the Kit), Roseanne Watt, Stuart Thompson, Theo Altmann, and Eric Stalker.
